Palette files, *.PAL

This is a pure input file. Its content cannot be modified by OpenMaXwell. The palette files contain the data defining the user-definable palette of OpenMaXwell. Note that only the palette of the color numbers 16…115 can be set. In order to keep the file small, the user can only specify 11 RGB compositions of the main color numbers 16, 26,…, 115. A linear interpolation is applied for setting the RGB compositions in between. Note that the colors 116…215 are complementary to the colors 16…115. The colors 216...235 are used for gray scale. Colors above 235 are reserved by the Windows system. Colors 0...15 are predefines (0: white, 1: black, 2: red, 3: green, 4: blue, 5: yellow,...).
