Brief biography

I have joined the Automatic Control Laboratory as a doctoral candidate in 2019, under the supervision of Prof. John Lygeros. Here, I am part of the Industry 4.0 group, whose activities are based on a long-standing collaboration between the Automatic Control Laboratory and Inspire AG.
Previously, I completed my bachelor's and master's degree at EPFL, majoring in control and mechatronics

Research interests

My research interests include the application of data-driven control techniques to mechatronic and industrial systems.
My work currently focuses on designing Bayesian optimization algorithms that improve the set-up process of advanced manufacturing methods. At the intersection between control, statistics and machine learning, I investigate parallelized tuning algorithms that are aware of the available data collection budget.
