suspended load - factor depth reference height

Hi,
I'm using BASEMENT v.2.5.2 and I have some doubts about the  " factor depth reference height". According to the input reference (http://www.basement.ethz.ch/docs/doc_BA … _2.4.3.5.1)
it is set by default to 0.1. This value is different from the default value (1) which is written just next to "default" in the documentation window; also in the log files of my simulations this parameter is set to 1.
These values seems to me a little bit strange, as the literature ones are much smaller: according to the Van Rijn's formula this factor should be set to 0.015. Is it maybe better to set it manually to the literature value than using the default one?
Thanks for helping

Re: suspended load - factor depth reference height

Hi Rossella

Yes you are absolutely right, the intended default value of 0.1 was not applied properly (value of 1.0 was taken).
We will set a more meaningful default value in the next release.
Therefore, please set an appropriate value manually!

Thanks for the feedback and best regards
Lukas
