failed to open restart file

Hello,

I receive a message saying

WARNING -> Failed to open file [...]_restart.cgnserror:
   cgio_open_file:file was not found

resulting in failing start of the simulation, showing this error:

x-value (usually=time) smaller than first x-value of boundary serie! (x-value:-1 first value:0)

The time x-value is -1 by default, if i wanna start from a restart-file, so I wonder why I get this error.
My restart file is in the right directory, as the restart worked on previous simulations. If I wanna chose a restart-timestep to start from there are no values to chose from. This is strange as there should be timesteps available every 600 s over a time of 70000 s.

The initial crash of the simulation happened due to the following error:

ERROR -> CGNS ERROR: could not find 'TimeIterValues' node error: goto path not found

I tried to change the endtime of the simulation to not have a multiple of the restart-time, as I read that before.

Any recommendations regarding this?
Thank you!

Re: failed to open restart file

Hi, are you using different names for the restart files or are you restarting the same simulation over and over?
