Controlled Weir - Basement 2.8

Hello everyone,
I would like to simulate a weir into a laterally situated flood retention basin. Regarding the weir, the µ parameter (discharge coefficient) is known and an h/Q-relationship can be calculated. Over the duration the water level in the retention basin rises and thus reduces the discharge through the weir. This c parameter (incomplete overflow) is also known.
Is there a possibility to integrate this information into the simulation?

Thank you very much for any advice.

Hi adrian91

The simulation of a weir as an internal boundary condition is possible under HYDRAULICS > INNER_BOUNDARY. The type can set to weir. The poleni-factor (in BASEMENT called "my") can be user-defined or if not specified by the user it is calculated dynamically under consideration of upstream and downstream water levels.

Best regards
Matthias
