Depth-dependant roughness

HI,
I'm currently engaged writing my Master Thesis about depht dependant roughness in 2D - Simulation.
Therefor I want to compare the results of modelling the same mesh with different Manning roughness (generated from various substrate mean diameters) in several water depth's (0.01m - 2.50m).
Is there a chance to implement a simple X-Y table (X=Water depth; Y= Manning roughness) at the Baseplane_2D / Hydraulic / Friction, which will be considered in the computation?
To model each Water depth with the specific roughness is a very time-consuming method, so I hope there is solution for this issue.

Thank you!
Kind regards
Max

Re: Depth-dependant roughness

Hi Max

For capacity reasons the implementation of such a feature is not planned anytime soon.

Maybe it would be interesting for you to run your simulations in batch mode (see BASEMENT User Manual  in Chapter 2.4). Integrating this in a batchscript can automatize your simulation process.

Best regards
Matthias
