Problem converting HEC-RAS format to BASEchain

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to convert an HEC-RAS file to BASEchain format using Basemesh as described in chapter 1.5.6 :
http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~basement/base … s_v2-8.pdf

Everytime I tried to do it the produced shapefile supposed to contain the cross sections was empty (with no error reported). I tried to simplify the HEC-RAS grid a lot with no more results (4 cross sections with no levees). And finally I tried to convert the .g0 following files with the same problem resulting :

http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~basement/qgis … SEmesh.zip
in
\BASEmesh\tools\HECRAS2basement_example_files

Any ideas about this problem?

I'm using Qqis 2.18.9 with Basemesh 1.4.3

Thank you very much and best regards.

Benoît

Re: Problem converting HEC-RAS format to BASEchain

I can confirm that there is an issue. As a workaround, you can use an older version of QGIS. I just checked, it works with QGIS 2.14
