GPU unavailable in simulation tab (BASEMD)

Despite having both an integrated Intel GPU and a discrete NVIDIA GPU, the GPU options on the simulations tab are greyed out. I'm trying to determine if this is a hardware issue with my machine or an issue with how I have BASEMENT set up. When I read the manual, I didn't get the impression that only BASEHPC could access the GPU for processing, but maybe I missed it.

I have manually assigned the NVIDIA GPU to BASEMENT in the Graphics Settings in Windows, but it hasn't made a difference in processing times, and when I look at the Task Manager, the GPU is not being utilized.

Are there other options I should being checking?

Re: GPU unavailable in simulation tab (BASEMD)

Hi

The use of GPUs is only possible with BASEHPC models. The HPC stands for High-Performance Computing, while MD stands for Multi-Domain.

Best regards,
Matthias
