Lost model setup when opening on another computer - BM v4

Hello,

I have been using a distant connexion to run a BASEMENT v4 model because my laptop is not powerful enough.

I copied the entire model folder into my laptop and I can open the results (xdmf file) fine in QGIS. However, when I try to open the model in BASEMENT on my laptop (e.g. to check the model settings), I get the message :

"The chosen scenario directory has been locked by the application 'basement'.
The process ID is 7624. Do you want to proceed ?"

Press OK and just get a completely empty model.

Is it normal that one can only open a BASEMENT model on the laptop on which it ran ? is it a problem about copy/pasting the whole folder ? or can I disable the directory lock somehow ?

Thank you.

Check if your path is somehow "strange".
Avoid the use of spaces and dots in it.
You can copy paste your path here, if you want.

Hi Matteo,

Thank you for your answer. You are right, the path on the original computer did not contain any spaces whereas the path on the laptot did. I changed the folder names on the laptop, still got the same message but the "Scenario directory" is correct, the model is not empty and I can run it.

Best,
Loriann
