Convert Map output to raster and Map output of velocity

Hi,

I've done an hydraulic simulation in Basement for a project in River Po.

I'm using Basement 2.8 and Qgis 3.10.

I don't manage to convert Map output to raster since Crayfish plugin is changed, because some time ago (with Qgis 2 and the previous plugin) I could do that.

Now crayfish can only plot, same thing for tuflow viewer, that can also export only in jpeg and avi.

Can you help me about that?

Another question on output is about velocity.
In Crayfish I can plot the velocity over a cross section, same thing in tuflow viewer, in which I can see also velocity vectors. Instead I want to create for my project a map output of velocity with colors (like others output), but I can't do this, both because I can't export to raster and because velocity is read by the program like a vector (I can only change lenght etc etc).

Hi Alessandro,

after I uploaded the mesh and the results of basement 3.0.2 to qgis I can visualize the velocity both as vector and with colors.

I also exported an animation...

If you are using QGIS > 3.10.x and BASEMENT 3.0.2 I suggest you to upload the mesh as a mesh layer, then double click on the layer and select source (or Sorgente if your QGIS is in Italian) then on "Assign extra dataset to mesh" there you can upload the xdmf output file and eveything works fine.

Read this if you encounter other problems

Ok thank you. It doesn't work with .sol file? Because I used Basement 2.8
