Assigning Extra Dataset to Mesh

Hello,

My problem starts even before the one described by Marulke: When trying to link Basement 3 results with the original 2dm mesh, QGIS gives only an error message: "Could not read mesh dataset". Any suggestions on what could be wrong here?

The 2dm file loads and displays without errors, however at first, there is no CRS defined. But I can select one and save without error msgs.

QGIS 3.10.2 & BASEmesh 1.4.5 was used to make the mesh in a virtualized environment as MS App-V due to corporate policy issues.
BASEMENT 3.0 was used for flow simulation.

I would appreciate some guidance.

Re: Assigning Extra Dataset to Mesh

The same happens to me.

I tried to view in Qgis some results from Basement V3.0.1 (I can view them with ParaView 5.6). I'm using Qgis 3.12 with Crayfish 3.2.1.

With the Flaz example, everything works fine; however, when I try to view the results of a test of mine and i give  the command "Assign Extra Data Set to Mesh", the program tells me "Could not read mesh dataset".
