boundary_history and qs in are different

Dear community,

I just noticed that the boundary_history file of my inlet string has negative values (maybe a vector-problem in the implementation?) that are not the same as the ones that I am feeding to the channel.

Any idea about why?

Thanks

Re: boundary_history and qs in are different

Ciao Matteo

Yes, the sign of the boundary_history depends on the user defined direction of the string (node1, node2, node3,...) AND upstream_direction (left/right)!

cheers, Lukas

Hi Lukas,

ok, I thought it was something like that.

But the values are higher than the feeding...that's odd to me!

Cheers
