inflow boundary condition with known depth and discharge

Hello to dear forum members,

It often happens that we have to model inflow with known Q and depth of flow at the inlet. In Baseplane, how would one model such a case?
Normally, supercritical flow require specification of both Q and h. How to proceed ?

Re: inflow boundary condition with known depth and discharge

Hi sajjad,

in the current version of BASEMENT it is not possible to fix the water level AND the discharge at the upstream boundary.

This will be possible in the next release in which a new boundary condition will be present.

Bests,

Matteo
