Biosignals and more

Welcome to my homepage! My name is Federico Wadehn and I am a PhD Student at the Signal and Information Processing Laboratory of ETH Zurich. On this website you can find some current research projects. If you are interested in a semester project or master thesis in an area I work on, do not hesitate to contact me!

  Research Interests
My current research interests include statistical signal processing, especially detection and estimation theory using state space models and probabilistical graphical models such as factor graphs. Most of my work is concerned with cardiac signals such as ECG, PPG and BCG.

  My current research topics
  1. Robust Kalman filtering and smoothing
  2. Heart Beat Detection in Ballistocardiogramm Recordings
  3. Outlier-insensitive System Identification
