Currently I work as assistent at the Glaciology Group at VAW, ETH Zürich, Switzerland. This glaciology lab is recognized for research in glacier dynamics, hydrology, mass balance monitoring, and glacier hazard assessment. My research focuses on the dynamics glaciers and of ice streams like Jakobshavn Isbrae in Greenland. Lately the relation between glaciers and climate has caught my attention. Another research focus is the behaviour of high altitude glaciers and the hazard assessment of hanging glaciers.
