One day of the Congress will be the Open Day, which will take place in the conference hall of a central high class hotel. The aim of this event is to enable students to establish contacts with representatives of companies or other sponsors and foreign universities.

Each company will be provided with its own space and will be able to use it and decorate it in its own way. In addition it will get the opportunity to present itself in a more “student-friendly” way. Our goal is to encourage companies to create interesting interactive presentations in order to remove the barrier that is so often present between students and companies.

Foreign universities will present their graduate programs, internships and research projects. Apart from their academic programs, representatives of the universities will also try to inform students about the social life and traditions of the university. The visitors will have the rare opportunity to get first – hand information about a university and the program of their choosing. This is especially important for students planning to conduct research in some particular field since they will be able to ask about its presence on each university.

During the Open Day, a cocktail party will also take place, in an attempt to form a friendly environment, where students can have conversations with companies’ representatives and be informed about the situation of the Job market.

Participants of the 24^th EESTEC Congress will also have their part of the Open Day event at the LC fair during which they will present their universities and local committees of EESTEC.

EESTEC TOPIC

Eestec Topic is a fundamental process that takes place during the annual congress. It actually is the main topic that workshops and most Eestec activities are focused on for the year to follow.
