“Evaluation Meeting”, which shall take place in Athens during the period March 21-27th 2010, was created having as its basis the actions of the past 3 years : INTERNET-ional SYMPOSIUM (2007), Renew Your Energy (2008), Bio Improve your life (2009), that were organized and executed by our local group with the support of General Secretariat for Youth and the Program “Youth in Action”, but in addition similar actions of groups all around Europe funded by the same Program or actions that applied for it without finally receiving the grant.

During the meeting, the participants of the actions mentioned above in cooperation with democratically elected representatives of each group will engage in conferences and round table discussions in order to evaluate the context, the implementation of the seminars, their results, as well as the dissemination of these results between the members of the groups and the public. Through all the methods highlighted previously fertile ground will be cultivated for the deduction of useful conclusions regarding the function of programs supported by the GS for Youth, their effectiveness, but also the directions that should be followed and the measures taken so that the quality of such structures that support the activities of young people can be improved.

In order to ensure the maximization of media exposure of this action and to have a third-party evaluation from the participants of EESTEC Congress 2010, cooperation in the media section has been established between the «Evaluation Meeting» and EESTEC Congress 2010, resulting in this joint website.
