BasePlane 2M Crash

Hi!

I'm trying to run my mesh of a reservoir with about 1900 elements. I've tried changing the mesh from larger to smaller elements, change of nodestrings and the input file but so far the program crashes before I can even start the simulation.

I tried both basement v 2.7. and 2.5.3, I've also desactivated Baseviz and cant seem to find a solution

I have 2 inflow hydrograph for steady state and a hqrelation as outflow. Also added 3 nodestrings for 0 Velocity in the reservoir edges.

Any thoughts?

Re: BasePlane 2M Crash

Hi

The outflow boundary isn't a boundary, it's somewhere in the middle of the mesh. You have two options
- use a external source with a negative discharge
- cut a hole, where your outflow should be, so you have a boundary there.

Hope, this helps.
